For the purpose of managing Catholic Creche, Nursery, Primary, Post-Primary Schools and Higher Institutions in the Calabar Archdiocese, there is hereby established a body known as the Catholic Schools Board.

Catholic Schools Board

Is the governing body of Catholic Schools in the Calabar Archdiocese, and is charged with the responsibility of:

Establishing Schools

Establishment
of Catholic Schools in the Calabar Archdiocese is our core function.

Policies

Formulating policies
for Catholic Schools as well as management within the Calabar Archdiocese.

03.

General Control

Superintendence of over policies, finances and properties of Catholic Schools in the Calabar Archdiocese.

04.

Consultancy

Advise the Archdiocese on all matters related to Education thereof including public relations.

Mission

To operate as an intervention, coordinating and monitoring body to progressively improve the capacity of Catholic Schools in the provision of high qualitative education.

To create strong, effective schools that provide a wholesome learning environment through incentives that cause a high standard of student accomplishment as measured by a valid, reliable accountability system.

To impart qualitative education that will ensure a holistic development and formation of the child through spiritual, psychological, academics, moral and physiological instructions in the system.

To formulate guidelines and policies in line with the Federal Ministry of Education while retaining and promoting Catholic identity in all Catholic Schools.

To teach all mankind for the sake of Christ so as to bring about the light of freedom, love and responsibility in the world.
